This was perfect. Absolutely perfect. Now, I know a lot of people will have issues with this. It's insta-love with sweetness, sappiness, and a fast paced relationship. But I am a bit of a believer in love at first sight. I'm not talking about real, passionate love. But I do think there are people who genuinely know from the first meeting that they will spend the rest of their lives with a person. Mainly because I have experienced it.
Meeting at a coffee shop is kind cliche, I guess. But when it came to how Riley and Dane met, I didn't care. Riley was adorable because he was so self-conscious. And Dane was just what he needed to help him overcome his issues. I don't think Dane guessed when he saw Riley, he really knew what he was getting in to. Their relationship was fast after they actually spoke... which came after a lot of stolen glances over morning coffee.
They had great chemistry as a couple, and even though things were a bit tense for a while. I still found these two completely adorable. Yes, I know, very strange way to describe them. But they were! The murder/mystery threw in some drama, but didn't stop a nice HEA. So, I was satisfied with the ending, though I would never say no to a sequel.
