This is not my usual read. The angst in this is normally the type of angst I try and avoid. But this was done so much better than most stories of their kind. Chase was a widower, his husband died a couple of years ago. In some ways other reviewers are right. There was a ghostly drive to this story. Normally, that would annoy me, but.
1)I felt as if this author did it better than most.
2)I felt the connection between the MC's as well as ^^^.
3)The age gap ended up amusing to me.
4)This was not about "moving on" more about accepting and allowing yourself to have something new.
5)Most of the sex scenes were beautiful.6)I love the endearment "angel".
6)It's beautifully written.
I did have a couple of niggles about the book. We don't find out how old Chase is. That can get annoying when the age gap is brought up. Another one and it was... Meh.
At the end Elijah said Chase let Owen go, that pissed me off, but it didn't take from the book. That was why this book was taken down a mark, maybe others will adore it, but I liked it a lot.Highly recommend this book!
