I read [b:Not Letting Go|17466516|Not Letting Go|Danni Keane|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1362392199s/17466516.jpg|24371874] a while ago and loved it. This is the prequel to that, and let me tell you, it was lovely to read Josh and Bradley before they got together and before Josh's dad died. Danni Keane did a wonderful job of reintroducing these two boys.

At the age of 1 year and 11 months I lost my dad to cancer. So, when I read a story like this, it's a kind of "what if" for me. What if my dad hand't died then and it came back years later. I would have built memories and had a tougher time. Danni shows the emotions around this event so well. Cancer is always a tough thing to write about and for me this author is very good at tackling the fallout.

Josh and Bradly are adorable and so confused it boarders on funny. I loved their first kiss and I loved their second kiss. Bradly seems to be who Josh needs around and I love that. With his family issues, he needs Bradly to be there for him.

I really love this book and I hope we have more Bradly and Josh again. It would be a shame to not get a little catch up with these two lovely, cute characters.
