I loved the couple in this one. They were different from the couples in the other books and the dynamic was a lot different too. Honestly, it was nice to see a couple who were different without them being made less perfect for each other, you know? I was a bit worried about that, but I shouldn't have been because Mary Calmes always writes good couples.
The whole Frank thing was done well and I was glad it didn't cause as much drama in the end as it could have. I'm not sure I could have been as, not even forgiving, but as helpful as Jackson was. That bit was a small downside for me. But I hate cheaters, so that is probably why.
If you're a fan of Mary Calmes like I am, then you will probably enjoy this series too. She's one of those authors I can read whenever I'm in the mood for something good without OTT angst.
